Deep Stretch Yoga Classes

Deep Stretch Yoga aims to relax and release tension in the body through stretching poses. This class is excellent for everyone as it increases flexibility and provides a calm, centering environment to destress.

Postures are primarily taken on the floor, either seated or lying down. The use of bolsters, blankets and blocks makes this practice accessible to everyone.

Deep Stretch Yoga is for people of all ages, including seniors.

What should I bring to class?

Please bring water to stay hydrated and a yoga mat, if you have one. Yoga mats are also available to rent.

What time should I arrive for class?

Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early for class to sign in for class and set up your space for practice.

What is the intensity level of Deep Stretch Yoga?

 Deep Stretch Yoga is moderately intensity. Modifications to poses are also provided.

Is Deep Stretch Yoga suitable for individuals with injuries?

With your physician’s approval, Deep Stretch Yoga can be suitable for individuals with injuries. Please inform your instructor prior to class and they will provide modifications throughout your practice.
